Project Scope

This small federal courthouse was awarded the prestigious GSA Construction Excellence award from among 145 competing projects and has been widely acclaimed for the elegance and quality of its interiors.  The grand atrium features a curving wall of dolomite stone; floors are terrazzo; custom millwork was installed in all of the courtrooms and judge’s chambers; and an unusual triangular staircase of terrazzo, glass, and stainless steel adds a modern touch to an otherwise traditional design.
