HURON SODIUM CHLORATE FACILITIESAugusta, GA and Eastover, SC

Project Scope

Caddell’s first project for Huron was expansion of their plant in Augusta, Georgia, from 45,000 to 133,000 tons of environmentally friendly sodium chlorate. The scope of work included two additional salt storage pits, two cell buildings (which house 16 titanium tanks each for producing sodium chlorate), two motor control center buildings, and a crystallizer building. Caddell was subsequently selected to build a new grassroots sodium chlorate facility in Eastover, South Carolina, very similar in size and scope to the Augusta complex.
