Project Scope

Construction of a 254,000-SF Central Laboratory & Office (CLO) Building that serves as the central hub for the entire Spallation Neutron Source Project. Facility houses offices, laboratories, conference rooms, and shop space to support a wide range of research activities. Equivalent in total area to the Superdome in New Orleans, its construction involved more than 350 on-site personnel at the peak of activity and required meticulous scheduling and contractor coordination. Completed with zero lost-time accidents. Performed as 50/50 Joint Venture.
