Project consisted of construction of a 42-story, 875,999 SF tower which remains one of Tampa’s tallest (currently the Bank of America Tower). The foundation required 7,500 cubic yards of concrete forming a slab 7.5 feet thick. The parking facilities area is connected by two sky bridges. In all, the structure required some 200,000 SF of marble and 52,000 yards of concrete. The interior is decorated with Italian Verde marble and numerous walls are covered with African mahogany with bronze inlay.
