In late 2016, Caddell received notice of award of two major State Department projects—a New U.S. Consulate in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia ($194M), and a New U.S. Consulate in Hyderabad, India ($189.2M). In Dhahran, Caddell will construct a complete multi-building consulate campus on a 10.5 acre site that will feature unique architectural details reflecting the rich Saudi culture and building style. The new Consulate in Hyderabad is a design/build project whose style will likewise showcase local decorative motifs. Both Consulates are scheduled for completion in 2020. Caddell was the State Department’s choice for more new construction in 2016 than any other U.S. contractor. Current and completed Caddell projects for the State Department total more than $3.4 billion in 28 nations around the world.
