

John A. Caddell, following 31 years at the head
of one of the nation’s largest construction
and engineering groups, formed Caddell Construction Co., Inc. in
1983. Since then, Caddell has sustained remarkable growth and emerged as a major competitor in both commercial and industrial markets worldwide.
Consistently ranked by ENR among the 200
largest U.S. contractors (currently ranked #88), Caddell is also the 28th
largest U.S. GC working abroad, and among the top twenty U.S. Green
contractors. The majority of
Caddell's volume consists of work for federal
clients including the U.S. State Department,
the GSA, the Federal Bureau of Prisons,
the Department of Energy, and all branches
of the U.S. military. However, Caddell
continues to serve private
customers most
notably the Southern Company
for whom Caddell has built major power plant
complexes and provides ongoing
construction and maintenance services.
Today,
Caddell performs under the full range of contract agreementsdesign/build,
construction manager at risk, design/bid/buildfor some of the most ambitious construction projects in the world.
In new
construction applications, such as the
implementation of new force protection and anti-terrorism design codes, Caddell is on the
cutting edge, building projects for the military and the U.S. State Department that are among
the most sophisticated and secure in the world. Caddell is also an
experienced LEED builder with dozens of LEED certified projects and 16
LEED certified professionals on staff.
