Design/Bachelors Enlisted Quarters (BEQs)
Camp LeJeune, NC
Caddell recently completed this design/build barracks project to very high marks from the U.S. Navy for finishing ahead of schedule, exceptional cost control, zero lost-time accidents, and zero claims.  Two separate sites each involved D/B of two 3-story buildings and a commons facility.  Caddell was able to provide several key value engineering contributions that significantly improved the design.
  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Three Barracks and
Operations Complexes
Ft. Bragg, North Carolina

Caddell has completed three major
barracks and operations complexes as part of Fort Bragg’s Army Communities of Excellence installation upgrade program. These projects for the First Brigade, Combat Aviation Brigade (design/build), and Separate Battalions represented a $231 million investment in an improved quality of life for the single soldier, together with state-of-the-art office and administrative facilities. Quality, safety, and schedule performance have all been outstanding.

Design/Build of Commissary, Exchange, and
Guesthouse Facility
Ft. Buchanan, Puerto Rico

The new retail and hospitality 
facilities at historic Fort Buchanan 
are among the finest in the U.S. 
Army. The new 217,000-SF 
shopping center features 
the most modern convenience 
and control technology. 
Across the avenue sits the 
gracious new 75 room guesthouse 
that has won design awards and 
been recognized as one of the 
Army’s most beautiful. 
This $37 million investment has 
become the centerpiece of a 
base-wide improvement/
enhancement program.



 

Whole Barracks Renewal                   
Ft. Campbell, KY
This $33.7M barracks complex included a
barracks building housing 400 personnel,
a soldier community/conference facility,
three company operations buildings, and
new brigade and battalion headquarters. 
Caddell completed this formidable challenge
a full seven months ahead of schedule and was able to deliver the final building
11 months before the original beneficial occupancy date.
