Veterans Affairs

program of new construction
and facilities upgrades for
the VA medical system.
Caddell completed upgrades
and additions totaling
$73 million for Atlantas
VA Medical Center without
the loss of even one hour of patient services.
A nearly $70 million seismic
remediation and facilities modernization
at The VA Medical Center in Memphis,
Tennessee, added 320,000-SF in new
floor space while installing innovative
systems to protect the medical complex
from earthquake damage in this active
seismic zone. Caddell has also been
at work expanding and upgrading VA
facilities in Illinois and Alabama.
Caddell's performace at the VA Memphis
Medical Center earned recognition from
the AGC as winner of the 2001 Build Alabama
Award.

Baptist Hospital Medical Complex

Baptist Hospitals 54,000-SF
Womens Pavilion, additions to the main
hospital totaling more than 37,000-SF, new laboratories and operating
rooms, and scores of additions and upgrades have been part of Caddells
ongoing ten-year/$65+ million expansion and renovation partnership with
this premier healthcare provider. Caddells record of superior quality
construction with minimal disruption to ongoing hospital operations
has earned the trust of both the hospital management and professional
staff, as well as a large volume of repeat business. The most recent
major project at Baptist consisted of more than 37,000-SF of new
construction, primarily for a new neo-natal intensive care unit and
a larger and better-equipped emergency room and ambulance dock.
Caddell also added new cardiovascular operating and intensive care units.
